She is a also a wife to Lappidoth therefore, serving 3 roles in God's Kingdom. Her name means Bee which symbolises 'industrious', truly a "mother of Israel". She was a woman of great wisdom, discernment and influence thus revealing the Glory of God through her courage, obedience and faithfulness.

Such a weighty title that comes with alot.

The Sovereignty of God requires us to have faith and hope on the unseen even when we don't understand the chaos of it all. Abraham had resided to his 'fate' a servant would inherit his property. However, God had a perfect plan in place ...He promises a son "his own flesh and blood"...and he believed God. He further detailed to him this great plan to the fourth generation. God seals the covenant and blessed Abraham.

May the Holy Ghost grant us the gift of joy especially in the midst of our turmoil. Just like Paul and silas...after being attacked, stripped and flogged for doing good and then imprisoned.They still had it in them to pray and sing hymns to God. Praise Him... Praise Him for the foundations of every bondage in life has been shaken, before you lays open doors that no man can shut for chains have been loosened thus you've been Set free.

The sight of angels seem not to perplex her ...the arrangements of burial linens/wrappings does not awaken her curiosity. She was diligently seeking her Saviour and only at the sight of Him would she snap out of this state. However, the one she addresses thinking He is the gardener calls out her name; Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
